WCREW Community Involvement

One of WCREW’s founding values is to give back to the community our profession. Our philanthropic focus is primarily on programs that assist women and girls to achieve economic self sufficiency and promote the entry of more women into commercial real estate. WCREW seeks to make a difference in the lives of women and girls who want to achieve the same successes that members of WCREW have attained through their careers in commercial real estate.

Some of our recent charitable activities include:

Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity Women Build - eliminates substandard housing while providing opportunities for women to be involved in the various stages of building.

Milwaukee Urban Gardens - acquires and preserves land and partners with neighborhood residents to develop and maintain community gardens to enhance the quality of life.

Rebuild Together - preserve and revitalize houses and communities, assuring that low-income homeowners, from the elderly and disabled to families with children, live in warmth, safety, and independence.

WCREW is also committed to opening the eyes of young women to the many career opportunities available to them in the commercial real estate industry and works with local educations institutions to offer mentoring services and scholarships.
