Sponsorship Committee
This committee is charged with overseeing all non-individual fundraising for WCREW. The committee’s role is to work with staff and volunteer leaders to develop an overall strategy which properly prices the opportunities for supporting the organization and the value to the supporting company. Committee members will identify and contact companies and industry contacts, and assist in matching sponsor needs with opportunities to maximize WCREW revenue.
Duties
- Prepare sponsorship benefit materials.
- Send letters to likely sponsors (in January/February) soliciting sponsorship (along with sponsor benefit materials). Follow up with phone calls.
- Notify staff of any sponsorships secured.
- Provide monthly updates to the Board.
- Send thank you letters to sponsors.
