Membership Prerequisites
1. An applicant for membership must hae been actively engaged for at least three (3) years in commercial real estate, or in an industry or field that supports the commercial real estate industry.
2. At least 80% of the Members shall be actively engaged in one or more of the following disciplines within the field of commercial real estate:
- Accounting
- Appraisal
- Architecture
- Asset Management
- Brokerage
- Consulting
- Construction
- Corporate Real Estate
- Development
- Engineering/Surveying
- Environmental
- Finance
- Government
- Institutional Lending
- Interior Design/Space Planning
- Investment
- Journalism
- Law
- Leasing
- Marketing
- Mortgage Banking/Brokerage
- Property Management
- Public Relations
- Title Insurance
- Zoning/Municipal Planning
3. The maximum number of Members who are employed part-time in the commercial real estate industry shall not exceed 20% of the total membership.
4. The Membership Eligibility Guidelines may be revised and updated from time to time by the Board of Directors.
